SOUKYA is pleased to share some of the developments in the area of research. This research was carried out in association with London based Thrombosis Research Institute (TRI). It is important to note that the very basis of all of SOUKYA's high rate of success in its treatment Programmes is the integration of various systems of medicine.
The prime objective of the study was to analyse the biochemical changes that the body-system undergoes with our Ayurvedic and holistic treatments at SOUKYA.
Tests were conducted on 40 individuals, both before and after the treatment course. Individuals underwent a Holistic treatment program, including Shirodhara, Abhyanga, Vasti, Yoga and meditation, liver packs etc. starting 10 days and more.
Blood samples were tested for levels of various biomarkers in the context of Lipid metabolism, inflammatory sensitivity, coagulation, immunity, stress, all pre and post treatments.
All biomarkers have improved considerably, (which may be deemed as an anti-ageing process). What is more, it was noted that even a minimal period of 10 days of treatments resulted in effecting the desired changes in the system. Needless to mention, a proper 'Panchakarma' procedure spanning over a period of 3- 4 weeks, produced unbelievable changes much to the dismay of the doctors of western medicine.
